Reflection
How are you enhancing justice and equity for all?
In the Office of Faith and Service we create a space for reflection that allows our students to deepen their connection with themselves, their beliefs, with each other, and the larger global community.
Through our reflection program we challenge students to look at how through their service and service-learning they can be most effective at enhancing justice and equity for all individuals. We help students identify and critique their motives for engaging in service while simultaneously instilling in them the commitment to work for social justice. We take a faith-based and spiritual perspective to enhance an individual’s ability to engage effectively in service for social justice and give students the opportunity to remain persistent in their goals of service.
Reflection programs are offered as part of the FME service experience, for our students who engage in the weekly CAP program, and as part of our alternative break programs.
To learn more about our reflections programs please contact Denning Aaris.

The Dean's Graduate Student Book Club
Students are fast approaching the end of their time here at Babson. In times of transition, questions such as “What’s next?” or “How will I know if I’m making the right choices?” or “Will I be a success?” arise. This is an opportunity for graduate students nearing the completion of their graduate studies to reflect, with Dean Dennis Hanno and with each other, on important questions such as these.
If interested in exploring these questions, How Will You Measure Your Life?, written by Harvard Professor Clayton Christensen is a wonderful guide. This book is based on the author’s conversations with his own students about life as they transition into their careers.
The “Dean’s Book Club,” is developed to help create opportunities for us all to be engaged in conversations about the important questions discussed in the book. There will be an online forum through Blackboard created just for this purpose, and there will also be a series of dinners hosted by Dennis Hanno – two here in Wellesley and one in San Francisco.
If Interested in this opportunity please contact Kate Buckman.
