Setting up Outlook 2010 for Exchange 2010

  • Click on Start, select Settings,then select Control Panel and in the upper right corner of the window type Mail in the search area.
  • Double-click on the Mail icon.
  • If there are no active accounts, you will see this window


  • Click on Add, Enter your Name, click Ok and scroll down to Add A New Account. 

 If Outlook has an account and you are adding yours, you will see this window:

Add A New Account

  • By default, Email Account will already by selected, so just click Next. On the next screen, if it's not already filled in, enter your name, e-mail address and password. Click Next.

  • You will see the following box while the server automatically detects your settings.

  • If you're off campus, you might see a box like the one below. Enter your Babson password and click OK.

  • Click Close.

  • Open Outlook. You will see this progress bar as it launches for the first time. Once Outlook opens, your e-mail account is now ready for use. Click on the Inbox to see your messages.
