Promote

It's now time to get the word out! From campus LCD screens to sidewalk chalk drawings, from press releases to alumni newsletters, leverage existing communication vehicles (pdf) to let your audiences know about your initiative or event.

Get Creative with a Guerrilla Marketing Campaign!

Word of mouth is probably one of the most powerful tools to promote your event or program. How can you get people talking about it?

Leverage groups/individuals that can influence your target audience(s). Examples could include piggy-backing on HR's on-boarding process to attract new staff to Founder’s Day or getting faculty to make attendance at your event a class requirement.

Other recent examples of guerilla marketing include environmental marketing and sidewalk chalk.
