The Sorenson Center for the Arts offers students many resources in the visual arts genre that allow them to explore their arts passions.
Ceramics Studio
Studio Location: Trim 221

Equipment includes: ten pottery wheels, two electric kilns, a pug mill, a slab roller, sculpting tools and multiple worktables. The ceramics studio is generally open 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day for enrolled students who have OneCard access.

Drawing and Painting
Studio Location: Trim 215
Furnished with 20 tilt-top artist tables, stools, sink, flat file, and art supply storage. The studio is available for use by all Babson, Olin, and Wellesley students, faculty, and staff for arts related activities. For information and availability contact Danielle Krcmar.
Photography
Lab Location: Sorenson Center for the Visual Arts in Trim 222
Equipped with 12 enlarger stations, film and print developing sinks, film dryer, and print drying racks. The darkroom is only open to Babson, Olin and Wellesley students, staff and faculty who have completed the foundation course or made special arrangements with the instructor. There is no charge but you must provide your own photo paper. A student lab monitor prepares chemistry for use during open studio hours. For access to the photography studio contact David Akiba.

MAD Studio - Babson Media Group
Location: Horn Library - First Floor
Babson Media Group is a collection of Babson students who are dedicated to improving communication of events on campus through the use of digital media and various mediums. They will provide Babson students, faculty, and organizations with resources and services to facilitate their own independent projects.

Babson Fine Arts Association (BFAA)
The Babson Fine Arts Association (BFAA) aims to make the wealth of fine arts and culture in the Boston area available and accessible to Babson students. Through student exhibitions, workshops, events, the display of student artwork and collaboration with other art-related organizations, these groups promote and infuse the arts into the Babson Community.
