Career Exploration

Career exploration is not an overnight process, nor a linear one.

The Babson Center for Career Development (CCD) supports each stage of our students’ journey in a variety of ways, including personal branding, industry-leading assessment tools (MBTI and CareerLeader), and ready access to internship and full-time opportunities both online and on-campus. And, if you’re going into a startup or a family business, you will find CCD uniquely suited to prepare you for the challenges involved in owning and growing your company.

CCD doesn’t exist in a vacuum—career development is integrated into the Babson MBA curriculum. A core course that distinguishes Babson’s graduate business curriculum, Managing Talent: Your Own and Others, helps students learn about talent management and create a personal development plan through 360-degree feedback. They are then partnered with external coaches from a wide range of industries to have a one-on-one advisory session from a real world perspective.

Whether you are engaging in mock video interviews, developing elevator pitches, or being coached in offer negotiations, the graduate CCD team will be with you every step of the way in exploring your career opportunities.

"The Center for Career Development does a great job matching students to our company. Each time we’ve received a résumé from Babson, there’s been a real connection between what we do and the student."
