“The Center for Career Development does a great job matching students to our company. Each time we’ve received a résumé from Babson, there’s been a real connection between what we do and the student.”

Career exploration is not an overnight process, nor a linear one. The Babson Center for Career Development (CCD) employs a variety of tools and resources to support each stage of our students’ exploration.
From personal branding such as résumé writing and social media presence, to leveraging industry-leading assessment tools such as MBTI and CareerLeader to identify interests, strengths, and what you find most motivating in work, you will be able to lay the groundwork for the plan you want to pursue.
Career development is integrated into the Babson MBA curriculum. A core course, Managing Your Talent and Others , is a unique point of difference among graduate business curriculums and provides an opportunity to learn about talent management through self-applied concepts and the creation of a personal development plan. Other courses that integrate real-world projects with partner organizations such as MCFE and BCAP also enhance exploration, as you will engage with organizations of varying types and sizes.
Babson’s diverse student backgrounds provide the opportunity to see our graduates pursue diverse careers. The graduate CCD team is skilled in helping all of our students, ranging from those that want to pursue internships and full-time positions, to those who want to move around in their existing company, to those who will be returning to a family business post-graduation. Both internships and full-time positions are available through an online system, Career Connections 24/7 as well as on-campus recruiting, which saw a 233 percent growth (vs. YAGO) in companies with an intent to hire.
Whether it’s doing mock video interviews, in-person interviews with experienced executives, tapping into industry-leading preparation tools such as Career Beam, or receiving one-on-one coaching from a relationship manager on topics such as offer negotiations, the graduate CCD team will be with you every step of the way in exploring your career opportunities.
