These events provide a venue for multiple employers from each industry to come together, meet interested students, and identify talent.  Compared to the traditional “info session”, this program will allow you to meet a broader pool of candidates who are interested in your industry. This will include juniors, seniors, and Masters of Science in Management students. 


    Each company will have the chance to share their story and available opportunities to several small groups of students. In addition, there will be an employer and student networking session during the second half of the event.

    Join us in downtown Boston on Wednesday, October 7th at the Ritz Carlton for our Boston Speaker Series. Jeffrey Kleintop, Senior Vice President, Chief Global Investment Strategist, Charles Schwab & Co. will discuss his global market outlook, opportunities and risks that are facing investors, and how current events are effecting the global markets. This event draws approximately 150 Babson alumni, students, faculty and staff as well as Boston Business professionals and members of the Boston Security Analysts Society

    EVENT SCHEDULE:

    Reception: 6-7pm

    TRANSPORTATION: 
    The Cutler Center is providing complimentary bus transportation to and from the Ritz Carlton for any interested Babson students/faculty/staff. The bus will leave campus at approximately 4pm and return to campus around 7:30pm.     Sam Kennedy will be presenting on The Business of Baseball.     Join us to learn about the rapidly expanding area of Islamic finance. Mr. Issam Al Tawari, Chairman and CEO, Rasameel Structured Finance Company; Chairman, Rasameel Investment Bank (DIFC) will discuss the key differences between Islamic and Western finance. He will discuss the topics of risk sharing, contract structure, and alternatives to traditional interest bearing loans.     The Cutler Center for Investments and Finance and the Graduate Center for Career Development are hosting an all-day Boston Finance Trek on Friday, January 29th in downtown Boston. 

    MBA students participating in the Trek will have the opportunity to meet with Babson alumni at four different firms in downtown Boston. Our alumni hosts will discuss their company's business and strategy, their individual role within the organization and how they broke into the industry. 

    Additional details about this event will be sent to all MBA students in early December. This Trek is a great opportunity for approximately a dozen top MBA students.
