Introduction to the 2016-2017 Webinar Series, “New Technologies, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Tackling Human Trafficking”
How are new technologies and innovations impacting human trafficking? How can new technologies and innovation address and combat human trafficking? And how does entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial solutions play a role in the fight against human trafficking? This is the first webinar of the 2016-2017 series which will introduce the topic and outline the six webinars for the coming months.
This is the third series on emerging issues surrounding human trafficking, illicit trade and the private sector presented by The Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime and Babson College’s Initiative on Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery. The webinar series is also supported by the Terrorism, Transnational Crime and Corruption Center (TraCCC) at George Mason University.
The panel for each webinar will feature expert speakers drawn from the private sector, academia, public policy and the NGO community.
