Donna brings a unique ensemble of talents and expertise to Babson College, encompassing Career Services, Human Resources, Coaching and Higher Education. She has worked with undergraduates, MBA candidates, alumni, academic leaders, parents, individuals in transition as well as senior executives. Her experience spans culturally diverse populations with a focus on enhancing career development and career competencies, designed to ready individuals for their careers.
The foundation of her success is establishing and leveraging collaborative relationships. She is committed to building, inspiring and equipping the “college to career community” of staff, faculty, advisors, alumni and parents with the tools necessary to support students’ career development.
Donna has extensive executive leadership experience, combined with consulting, coaching, teaching and business experience. She has served as a Career Expert for the Financial Times “Ask the Expert Jobs Clinic”. Donna earned her BS and MEd from the State University of New York.
Assistant Director, Marketing & Business Analytics
Lisa Alberts collaborates with the entire Undergraduate Center for Career Development team to deliver effective and strategic marketing communications to students. In this role, she is responsible for the department’s social media, marketing materials (such as the weekly student newsletters), and other marketing projects. She manages the department’s market research, data collection, and CCD technology updates. She also supports all users of the Career Connections database, and uses metrics to find new ways to improve and better deliver CCD’s programing to undergraduate students and our employer partners.
Prior to joining the team, Lisa worked in online marketing and before that in a career services operations role. She earned her BS in marketing from Lehigh University, and is currently pursuing her MS in marketing analytics from Bentley University.
Assistant Director, International Relationship Manager
Emily supports international students with their employment search process within or outside the U.S. and provides counsel and career education for any student interested in opportunities abroad. In collaboration with the Center for Career Development team, she is responsible for creating programming, resources, and an overall strategy designed to generate inclusive employment opportunities for Babson’s diverse population. This includes advocating on behalf of Babson’s international undergraduate students and working closely with cultural affinity clubs and organizations.
Emily joined the Center for Career Development in 2016, but has served in a variety of roles at Babson including On-site Coordinator for Babson BRIC: The Cornerstone of the New Global Economy and International Student Program Coordinator in the Glavin Office of Multicultural & International Education. Emily earned a M.A. in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University and a B.A. in Media & Communications from Muhlenberg College.
Sr. Associate Director, Corporate Relations and Recruitment
Jaime oversees the undergraduate recruiting program and manages corporate relations within the Center for Career Development. She is responsible for strategic development of employer relations to establish and maintain partnerships with employers interested in recruiting Babson talent through job and internship opportunities. She is also responsible for coordinating corporate outreach initiatives including our annual Career Expo and Corporate Recruiter Day. Jaime joined the Center for Career Development in 2013 but began her career at Babson in 2002 within the Events Management Office as the Campus and Community Events Director.
Prior to Babson College, Jaime worked in start-up, agency, and corporate environments in the fields of marketing, public relations, and sales and recruiting. Jaime earned her B.A. in Business Psychology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Associate Director, Counseling
Lee is responsible for the advising and career education of undergraduate students. She works in collaboration with the entire Center for Career Development team to build strategies that support the office’s integrated and holistic approach, and takes a leadership role in supporting and assessing counseling and resource offerings.
Prior to joining the team, Lee worked at Clark University as Associate Director of Career Services, supporting students and alumni in their career pursuits, and managing the academic internship program.
Lee has experience in several areas of higher education including human resources, alumni relations and development, student research, and as an adjunct instructor. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Brandeis University and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Linda manages the front desk and welcomes guests to the Career Center. In this position, she assists students, employers, and the Career Center team Linda’s role supports students with the navigation of the Career Connections site, manages the staff calendar, and receives and directs telephone and email inquiries. Linda also processes the financial affairs of the Career Center.
Linda comes from a background in events management and obtained her B.A. from Boston College.
Sr. Associate Director, Employer Engagement & Career Advising
Caroline provides individual and group student advising on career development and job search strategies for undergraduate students that are interested in the Financial Services industry. Caroline is responsible for working in collaboration with the entire Center for Career Development team to build strategies that support the office’s integrated and holistic approach to career development. This includes taking a leadership role in supporting and assessing employer partnerships and providing key thought leadership in the area of employer engagement best practices and experiential education.
Caroline joined the Center for Career Development in 2010 as the Employer Relations Manager where she established and maintained relationships with employers interested in recruiting Babson talent. Prior to joining the CCD team at Babson College, Caroline worked on the Asset Management Recruiting team at Fidelity Investments helping to support graduate and undergraduate recruiting efforts. Caroline earned her B.A. in English from Loyola Marymount University and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. from Babson College.
Associate Director, Career Education
Vicky is responsible for the development and implementation of CCD’s career education strategy. She utilizes new and existing partnerships across campus to integrate career education within the student experience. She coaches students at all stages of career development utilizing a variety of career assessment tools in guiding them through an appreciation and understanding of self as the foundation for career success. In addition, Vicky provides individual and group advising on job search strategies for students who are interested in Consulting, Non-Profit, Education, Environmental Sustainability and Service & Fellowship Programs. She connects with internal and external industry experts in these fields to generate opportunities for students. Prior to joining Babson in 2007, her experience includes roles in training & development, program management, recruiting, and employee relations across various industries. She earned her M.A. in Counseling from Boston College where her studies were focused on Vocational Psychology.
Assistant Director, Career Skills
Brenda creates opportunities for students to develop fundamental job search skills. She provides individualized career counseling services for students, and works with First Year Seminar Instructors and Marketing Faculty to integrate career-related content in the curriculum. Leveraging the latest technology, she also creates on-line content, allowing students to sharpen fundamental job search skills 24/7. Brenda collaborates with the Blank Center for Entrepreneurship to provide resources to students with an interest in startup companies, and also provides guidance to students looking to pursue graduate degrees after Babson.
Prior to this role, Brenda managed a variety career programs for MBAs at Northeastern University and Babson College, and for MS and PhD students in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences at Boston College. Her corporate experience includes accounting and finance positions at the TJX Companies and Arthur Andersen & Co. Brenda earned her BA (American Studies) from Colby College, MSA from the University of Hartford, MA (Higher Education Administration) from Boston College, and has completed significant coursework toward her MBA at Babson College.
Associate Director, Experiential Education
Arline MacCormack is the Associate Director of Experiential Programs. In her role, Arline manages student and employer participation in experiential opportunities including: Undergraduate Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) Program, Career Exploration Lab (CEL), Intern Sponsorship, and Externship Programs. Arline also assists with planning and delivery of UG field based curricula.
Prior to joining the CCD team, Arline spent 7 years working in the Office of Student Life here at Babson College as the Coordinator of Housing Operations. Arline earned a B.A. in Psychology from University of Massachusetts and a M.A. in Higher Education from Boston College.
Scott is the Program Coordinator for the Undergraduate Center for Career Development. In this role, Scott manages the logistics for all UG CCD programs and events. He also supports the Experiential Learning Programs, including Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE), Career Exploration Lab (CEL), Externships, and Internship Sponsorship Program. In addition, Scott supervises the Peer Career Ambassadors (PCAs), who serve as career liaisons to all first-year and sophomore students, student clubs and organizations.
Prior to joining the CCD team, Scott worked on the University Relations & Talent Acquisition teams for Staples, supporting the internship & co-op programs as well as other recruiting operations efforts. He earned his B.A. in English and Secondary Education and is pursuing a M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Boston College.
Manager, Corporate Relations
Annie oversees and administers internal operations of the Recruiting Program, serving as the primary contact for students and corporate recruiters. She is responsible for coordinating support to employers and students throughout the recruiting process for internship and full-time opportunities; conducting external outreach for the recruiting program, and proactively communicating opportunities to the Babson community.
Prior to joining the team, Annie worked in campus recruiting at Walt Disney World, completed a graduate assistantship in the Office of Admission at Merrimack College, and was a talent acquisition specialist for a Dunkin' Donuts Franchise. Annie earned a M.Ed in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs from Merrimack College and a B.S. in Business Management and Marketing from Westfield State University.
Associate Director, Marketing & Technology
Lucy is an experienced coach and advisor that prepares students for the college to career transition utilizing a host of tools to explore and map out possibilities for the future. From assessments to competencies, skill and talent development, Lucy prepares Babson students for their career journeys. Lucy engages with faculty, centers of excellence, corporate partners, professional organizations and student clubs to provide industry specific information, events and advising sessions. As member of the career advising team, Lucy provides informational programming to ensure students are prepared with the appropriate life skills, to succeed in their career choices. Lucy supports a wide range of students and corporate partners in Marketing, Technology, Retail and Consumer Products
Before joining Babson, Lucy worked as the Director of Customer Care at SmartPak Equine. Over her 10 years there, she helped the company grow from start-up to acquisition. Her roles included; setting the strategic direction of a large team, recruiting, hiring and managing staff, combined with building and facilitating career development programs. Lucy earned her MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Babson College in 2014 and holds BA in Psychology from Newbury College. She is an active member of Babson’s Coaching for Leadership and Team Work program.
