Career Field Paths

Turning passion into opportunity is what entrepreneurs do. At Babson, we help students leverage their entrepreneurial skills to formulate a career strategy to launch the right career, at the right time, for the right reasons.

Once you have taken the time to explore your interests and discover your passion, it is critical that you translate these into potential career paths and develop a customized strategy to realize your career goals. By examining these goals in relation to your current situation (i.e. current inventory of skills, education, experience) you will be able to identify the “gap” between where you are and where you want to be. Designing and managing a reasonable and effective plan to “fill the gap” is key to your positioning yourself for the right opportunity.

For some students, this will mean securing a full-time position with a company after graduation. Others will launch their own business; and still others may opt for graduate school or to engage in volunteer, service, or alternative job programs.
