. You may also visit our Babson offices at the Wellness Center during business hours between 8:30am-4:30pm. Lindsay Segar, Assistant Director of Counseling Services facilitates connections between students and HRS counselors after talking with students to help identify their individual concerns.
The staff at HRS consists of clinical psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, who are experienced in working with Babson students on a range of issues. Full-time students are eligible for 8 counseling sessions and, should there be a clinical need, 5 psychiatric visits at no charge. Psychiatric visits are approved in conjunction with ongoing personal counseling. Additional sessions may be covered by a student’s health insurance.
Counseling sessions are confidential. Interactions with Counseling Services are confidential and will not be shared with anyone without a student’s written authorization. Records of counseling are never part of a student’s academic record, and are not shared with anyone without a student’s written permission.
