Work Orders/Facilities Requests
Submit a work order to request any of the services provided by Facilities. The Work Order desk prioritizes and processes requests for emergency, routine, and special services for the Babson campus. The Work Order desk is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and all work orders must be submitted via the online work order system.

You will receive a work order number pending approval
You will receive an email when there is a status change, such as completion.

All cold-water washes are free. Warm- and hot-water washes are 50 cents each. There is no charge for the use of the dryers.
Contact your Area Director with any problems or concerns with the laundry facilities.
Housekeeping services are provided for public areas and occur weekly for suite bathrooms. Residents are responsible for maintaining their individual rooms and suite common areas (living and kitchen area), and for removing and emptying their trash and recycling in the designated trash/recycling bins.

Your room is cable-ready and a Comcast cable box is located in each room/apartment—all you need to bring is your TV. Should you need technical assistance, call Comcast at 1-855-638-2855. Please be sure to have the serial number of your cable box available when calling.
If you would like more information about your cable service, or would like to upgrade your current services, please visit the
Comcast website to view available options. Please use the 02457 zip code when utilizing the Comcast site. Comcast will be on campus to provide Babson students the chance to upgrade to digital cable service. Self-install kits will be available for instant installations.
Students who purchase upgraded Comcast cable service are responsible for returning the cable box to Comcast upon their departure from the residence hall. Babson College assumes no liability or responsibility for service charges for additional services contracted for by individual students. Students are responsible for all additional services transactions as contracted with Comcast, including cable box returns at the conclusion of the academic year.
All questions pertaining to the return of an upgraded Comcast cable box should be directed to Comcast.
Off-Campus Storage Options
Babson College does not offer storage on campus. New England Student Services offers short-term storage and shipping services. While Babson does not endorse New England Student Services, many of our students have utilized their services. Students who utilize their short-term summer storage services will have their items delivered to their fall housing assignment the week prior to the start of the academic year housing license, as scheduled by Babson College and New England Student Services. Students may rent a refrigerator/freezer/microwave combination unit via New England Student Services. We recommend you speak with your roommate(s) prior to renting a refrigerator to ensure that you do not rent more than are needed for your room. Information about their services can be found on the
New England Student Services website. Babson's 4 digit School Code is 2110. Units are delivered directly to the student room, and prior to arrival on campus if the order is placed by August 15. Late orders will be delivered after student arrival on campus.

You can register your vehicle at the Public Safety office ($75 a year) to receive a parking decal. Information about parking and the online application for a parking decal is available on the

Zipcar is a car-sharing club available throughout the U.S.A., Canada, and the UK. Their vehicles can be found throughout the Boston area in parking lots, at apartment buildings, and on college campuses. With 24/7 Zipcard access, you can rent one by the hour or by the day. The hourly rate includes gas, insurance, and reserved parking. Simply reserve online, walk to the nearest car, and drive away.
Babson College has two Zipcars on campus. Membership for Babson students is only $35/year! Students need to be at least 18 years old to join, and members 18–20 years old can use Zipcars only on the Babson campus. Members 21 and older have access to thousands of Zipcars all around Boston and other cities.
Who is eligible to become a Zipcar member?
To be eligible, you must:
Be at least 21 years old (18 for Babson students with use of Babson College Zipcars).
Have a valid driver‘s license (from any country) and have been licensed for at least one year.
Have had no more than two incidents (moving violations plus accidents) in the past three years and no more than one incident in the past 18 months.
Have had no major violations in the past three years.
Have had no alcohol violations in the past seven years.
The Student Government Association (SGA) sponsors
shuttle services each semester to encourage student exploration of the local Boston area and the neighboring Olin and Wellesley campuses.
Vending machines, offering a variety of snacks and drinks, are located in most of the residence halls on campus.
If you want to add money to your OneCard, use Babson Bucks. Babson Bucks never expire while you are enrolled at Babson.
