Application and Accommodations
Summer housing applications will be available from April 20 to May 1, 2015. Once an assignment is confirmed, applicants have 48 hours to cancel without penalty. After 48 hours, applicants remain financially responsible for the full license period.
Summer housing is available for the following students:
- Students registered for a Summer Session class for the session(s) requesting housing.
- Students doing an internship for credit.
- Students confirmed to work 35 hours per week on campus.
An email outlining the application process, frequently asked questions, and the timeline for requests will be sent to all undergraduate students prior to the end of April. All assignments will be made the first week of May. Questions and concerns regarding housing should be directed to the Housing Office.
Summer housing residents will housed in Park Manor West, Keith Hall (MSA) or Bryant Hall.
Rooms are assigned on a first-come first-served basis, and summer assignments will be emailed to students. There are a limited number of rooms available for summer session. The Housing Office will work to accommodate your needs, but housing is not guaranteed. Late applications will not be accepted.
All rooms are air-conditioned and furnished with beds, dressers, closets, desks, and desk chairs. Students provide all other furnishings, such as desk lamps, linens, blankets, and pillows. Please refer to the Undergraduate Housing Agreement and Undergraduate Handbook for housing policies, procedures, and community expectations. Residents are responsible for picking up and returning keys, signing room condition forms, and responding to any damage or vandalism that occurs to residence hall rooms and/or common areas. Each hall includes a community kitchen and a community lounge. There will be summer Resident Assistants living in the each of the residence halls to provide programming opportunities and community building for the residents.
