Senior-Led Seminars

For Students, By Students

Babson seniors, share your passion with fellow students through this amazing leadership opportunity.

Made possible by a generous gift of the Donald W. White Sr. ’50 Family, Babson has established a unique opportunity for Babson seniors! With this program, selected seniors teach a noncredit-bearing, five-week seminar each spring to other students related to their passion and interest. Each October, seniors are invited to submit an application and proposal on any topic related to their personal and intellectual passions and interests; from these, ultimately five seminars are selected for each spring semester.

Spring 2013 Topics:

  • Designing Presentations to Tell Powerful Stories

  • Political Education: Learning the Key Issues

  • Motivate Yourself: Making Health and Fitness Easy

  • Sustainable Fashion and Design

  • Relationship Management: Maximizing Your EQ

Spring 2012 Topics:

  • The Food Truck Industry
  • Apathy to Action: Passion and Movement
  • App Development for Entrepreneurs
  • Basic Theater Concepts’ Application to Business
  • Exploring CSR in a For-Profit World
