Posse Program

The Posse Program is a scholarship provided in partnership with The Posse Foundation. The foundation identifies, recruits, and trains exceptional youth leaders from urban public high schools, and sends these groups as “posses” to top colleges and universities in this country. These leadership scholars who are likely to be overlooked for college admission at the most selective colleges and universities have a national graduation rate of 90 percent.

Babson became the first business school in the nation to join the Posse Program and works specifically with Posse’s New York City chapter. The first Babson “posse” of 11 students arrived on campus in the fall of 2004 and 100 percent of them graduated in May 2008. Attending the College not only makes a difference for each new class of Posse students, but also enriches the rest of the student body and the community at large.
