Megan Houlker has served as the Director of the Undergraduate Center for Career Development since 2006. She provides leadership for the delivery of all career development, employer relations, and experiential education for Babson undergraduate students and alumni. Previously, Megan served as CCD’s Associate Director of Corporate Relations and Recruitment, overseeing the campus recruiting program and providing career advising to students and alumni. Megan began her recruiting career in the corporate sector as the Global Recruiting Manager for Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. where she led the investment banking division’s undergraduate recruitment efforts.

 

Megan earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English from Fordham University and her Master’s in Business Administration from Babson’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. Megan enjoys sharing her experiences and has presented at national and regional conferences. A native Rhode Islander, Megan’s favorite place is on the beaches of South County with her family.

 

 

Michelle LederhosMichelle Lederhos

Michelle Lederhos is the Associate Director, Career Advising & Resources.  In this role, Michelle supports and assesses best practices for student counseling and advising, resources, and program offerings.  Michelle launched and provides leadership to the Peer Career Ambassador program.  Michelle is also the liaison to advanced students with an interest in accounting and marketing (including consumer products) where she collaborates with faculty, student organizations and employers to deliver industry specific information and experiences to these communities of interest.

Michelle has been a member of the CCD team since 2005 and has developed her career in multiple roles on the team including career counselor, programs/events lead, and internship coordinator.  Prior to coming to Babson, Michelle worked at Quincy College as an Academic Advisor and Admissions Counselor. She also held a graduate assistantship coordinating the First Year Professional Development Seminar in the Lynch School of Education at Boston College.
 
Michelle earned a M.A. in Higher Education Administration and a B.A. in Elementary Education from Boston College.
 
 
Caroline HayesCaroline Hayes
Associate Director, Employer Engagement & Career Advising

Caroline provides individual and group student advising on career development and job search strategies for undergraduate students that are interested in the Financial Services and Technology industries. Caroline is responsible for working in collaboration with the entire Center for Career Development team to build strategies that support the office’s integrated and holistic approach to career development. This includes taking a leadership role in supporting and assessing employer partnerships and providing key thought leadership in the area of employer engagement best practices and experiential education.
 
Caroline joined the Center for Career Development in 2010 as the Employer Relations Manager where she established and maintained relationships with employers interested in recruiting Babson talent. Prior to joining the CCD team at Babson College, Caroline worked on the Asset Management Recruiting team at Fidelity Investments helping to support graduate and undergraduate recruiting efforts. Caroline earned her B.A. in English from Loyola Marymount University and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. from Babson College.

 

 

Vicky Keller Vicky Keller

Vicky provides career advising to undergraduate students and alumni, and works in collaboration with the Center for Career Development team to build strategies that support the office’s integrated and holistic approach to career development. This includes the development and delivery of curricular and co-curricular offerings in the area of career assessment and exploration. She is the liaison to students with an interest in social impact careers where she collaborates with faculty, student organizations and employers to provide industry specific information and experiences.

 

Prior to joining Babson College, Vicky worked in the Human Resources Department for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care for six years in recruiting, HRIS, and employee relations roles. Vicky also worked at Arthur Andersen in San Francisco managing the training program for the audit department. Vicky earned her B.A. in Psychology from West Virginia University and a M.A. in Counseling from Boston College where she participated in the Graduate Assistant Program, assisting students with internship placements.

 

Vicky earned a B.A. in Psychology from West Virginia University and a M.A. in Counseling from Boston College.

 

 

Brenda Kostyk Brenda Kostyk

Assistant Director, Career Skills

Brenda creates opportunities for students to develop fundamental job search skills.  She provides individualized career counseling services for students, and works with First Year Seminar Instructors and Marketing Faculty to integrate career-related content in the curriculum.  Leveraging the latest technology, she also creates on-line content, allowing students to sharpen fundamental job search skills 24/7.  Brenda collaborates with the Blank Center for Entrepreneurship to provide resources to students with an interest in startup companies, and also provides guidance to students looking to pursue graduate degrees after Babson.

 
Prior to this role, Brenda managed a variety career programs for MBAs at Northeastern University and Babson College, and for MS and PhD students in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences at  Boston College.  Her corporate experience includes accounting and finance positions at the TJX Companies and Arthur Andersen & Co.  Brenda earned her BA (American Studies) from Colby College, MSA from the University of Hartford, MA (Higher Education Administration) from Boston College, and has completed significant coursework toward her MBA at Babson College.

 

  

Arline MacCormack Arline MacCormack

Assistant Director, Experiential Education

Arline MacCormack is the Assistant Director of Experiential Programs. In her role, Arline manages student and employer participation in experiential opportunities including: Undergraduate Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) Program, Business Practicum Program and Organizing for Effective Management (OEM) Core.  Arline also manages the Internship Scholarship Program and assists with planning and delivery of UG field based curricula.

 

Prior to joining the CCD team, Arline spent 7 years working in the Office of Student Life here at Babson College as the Coordinator of Housing Operations. Arline earned a B.A. in Psychology from University of Massachusetts and a M.A. in Higher Education from Boston College.

 
 

Jaime Doherty

Jaime oversees the undergraduate recruiting program and manages corporate relations within the Center for Career Development. She is responsible for strategic development of employer relations to establish and maintain partnerships with employers interested in recruiting Babson talent through job and internship opportunities. She is also responsible for coordinating corporate outreach initiatives including our annual Career Expo and Corporate Recruiter Day. Jaime joined the Center for Career Development in 2013 but began her career at Babson in 2002 within the Events Management Office as the Campus and Community Events Director. Prior to Babson College, Jaime worked in start-up, agency, and corporate environments in the fields of marketing, public relations, and sales and recruiting. Jaime earned her B.A. in Business Psychology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

  

Mikaela Callahan

Mikaela Callahan is the Corporate Relations Manager for the Undergraduate Center for Career Development. In this role, Mikaela establishes and maintains relationships with employers who are interested in engaging with Babson and recruiting talent. Mikaela educates employers on the various ways that companies can partner with Babson during the recruiting year. She is responsible for executing many of our key recruiting events, including Career Expo and the Internship Fair.
Prior to joining the UG CCD team, Mikaela worked in the Events Management Office at Babson. She has her B.S. in Business Management from Babson College, Class of 2009, and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.

 

 

Lauren DeSoizaLauren DeSoiza

Lauren DeSoiza is the Assistant Recruiting & Branding Manager for the Undergraduate Center for Career Development. Lauren represents part of the Recruiting Team and helps to enable open communication between employers and students through various channels as well as the UG CCD data, operations, and technology initiatives. She is the manager of the social communications (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and is responsible for the Career Connections and web resources.

 

Lauren has her B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College, Class of 2010, and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. at the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
