Affordability
Babson cares deeply about making the experience affordable for all. We are committed to need-based financial aid and are able to meet more than 90 percent of our students’ demonstrated need. This past year, the average financial aid package for incoming students totaled $32,500. Babson students received $37 million in financial aid, with $30 million coming directly from Babson in the form of grants and scholarships.
At Babson, we:
- Are “need blind” in our admission process; there’s no reason not to apply for financial aid
- Commit up front to funding grants and scholarships for four years
- Primarily make financial aid awards on the basis of financial need, but consideration also is given to academic and personal accomplishments
We also offer exceptional value in the quality of the education we provide and the success of our undergraduates. Babson was named one of The Princeton Review’s Top 50 Best Value Private Colleges and was ranked No. 21 for midcareer earning power on a recent PayScale survey of 990 institutions.
We encourage students to apply for financial aid, and are committed to educating students who have a wide range of backgrounds, life experiences, and points of view. If you have any questions as you proceed through the financial aid process, please contact Student Financial Services (SFS). More information for parents on parent loans and the eProxy process can be found at the Student Financial Services website.
