Parents as Partners

Thank you Parent Coaches!

The Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program is a great way for parents to get involved with the Babson community. Coaches provide invaluable feedback to undergraduate students during the program and we greatly appreciate the time our parent coaches take to be part of CLTP.

Thank you to all the parents who participated in this fall’s program: William Barrar, David Bennett, Oleksandr Bugrimenko, Richard Clark, Charles Davis, Christopher Deady, Stephanie Deady, Gary Enos, Martha Festa, Hugh Glazer, Garry Holmes, Mark Housel, Bradford Maher, Naresh Mehta, Sujata Mehta, Richard Muller, Raymond Paquet, David Pellegrini, Andrew Ravech, Gerard Ronan, John Sanchez, Mark Shaffer, Patricia Smith, Paul Varadian, Alan Williams, Christopher Williams, and Dimitri Yioulos.

Staying Connected to Babson

There are a variety of programs that keep parents connected to Babson long after Orientation ends. Each fall, the Office of Residence Life hosts Family and Friends Weekend, a three-day event full of on- and off-campus social activities, athletic events, and student performances.

In partnership with the College’s Advancement Division, regional and on-campus events also are held throughout the year. Parents and families are welcome at many of the alumni events listed at Alumni Events. When visiting campus for events or family visits, the most convenient and affordable option is staying on campus at the Babson Executive Conference Center with reservations available online.

Babson is fortunate to have a strong tradition of support and involvement from parents who generously give their time, financial resources, and expertise. Some Babson parents become involved in the life of the College through The Fund for Babson, as volunteers for Babson events both on and off campus, as hosts for regional receptions, or through assisting with mentoring, internship, and employment opportunities for Babson students. Each gift to The Fund for Babson supports the College's top three priorities: scholarships and fellowships, faculty excellence, and student life. Gifts to The Fund for Babson contributed to the success of The Babson Rising Campaign.
