Develop your skills as a passionate, self-motivated entrepreneur within a close-knit driven community.
Here’s your chance to develop your skills as a passionate, self-motivated entrepreneur within a close-knit, driven community - the Babson Entrepreneurial Development Experience. If you’re searching for the right business idea, this program will help you to identify opportunities and act on them. If you already have an idea you’re ready to grow, this is the program to help make it happen. In the classroom, you’ll develop your problem-solving skills while working in a hands-on, team environment. Explore and approach social, economic and environmental problems in the context of developing new ventures as solutions. You will learn how to grow your commercial or social venture, and develop tools and resources for your business.
Through lectures and site visits, you’ll be inspired by innovative business leaders and real-world examples, and you will work in groups to develop solutions and pitch your action plans. You will interact with corporate and nonprofit leaders as you share your entrepreneurial plans. Past corporate visitors include Campbell Soup Company, Verizon Wireless, Target Corporation, Best Buy, and
Bain Capital.
You will use Entrepreneurial Thought and Action® to gain an understanding of the opportunities available to make your ideas reality.
