Student Financial Services will determine your eligibility for federal and state grants based on the information you provide on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Federal Pell Grant
Federal Pell Grants are awarded to undergraduates with the greatest financial need.
If your tentative award letter includes a Federal Pell Grant, the amount is an estimate that will be finalized once we receive your FAFSA and verification documents. The award amount is subject to change each year depending on your financial need and federal funding availability.
More information
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
The Federal SEOG is awarded to undergraduates with the greatest financial need.
Of the award amount, 75% is paid by the federal government and 25% is paid by Babson.
State Grants
For Massachusetts residents, the Mass Grant is awarded to students with the greatest financial need.
Babson receives Gilbert Grant monies from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to award to Massachusetts residents who have the greatest financial need.
Students from other states may be eligible for state grants that can be used in Massachusetts. Arrangements currently exist between Massachusetts and CT, DC, MD, NH, NJ, PA, RI and VT.
