There’s more to business education than just crunching numbers and analyzing cases. Our exceptional academic offerings, encompassing 26 in-demand concentrations, are built on a solid liberal arts foundation. You will learn how to evaluate, synthesize, and integrate information, and apply classroom learning in real-world situations.
At Babson you’ll also learn things you didn’t know could be taught, such as entrepreneurship and leadership. Leaders and entrepreneurs aren’t born, they’re made, and you’ll get the training, coaching, and experience you need to make an impact on teams, organizations, communities, and the world at large.
Our curriculum emphasizes hands-on, experiential learning, and is infused top to bottom with Entrepreneurial Thought and Action®. So, whether your interests include marketing or accounting, finance or technology, the arts or athletics, founding new companies or directing nonprofits, you’ll gain both a business skill set and an entrepreneurial mindset.
The yearlong Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME) course provides teams of students the opportunity to conceive, launch, manage, and eventually liquidate a real business or organization, with all profits donated to a local community service agency. Faculty advisers support the teams, but students are expected to learn as they go—mistakes and all.
Our faculty of accomplished educators and experienced practitioners are accessible and supportive, building strong mentoring relationships with students and helping them define their experience at Babson. All faculty members are involved in groundbreaking research, and bring their discoveries into the classroom.
Babson is a living/learning laboratory where you’ll discover something new about leadership—and yourself—every day. In fact, from day one, Babson’s signature learning experiences provide you with the opportunity to apply the skills you gain in class. At Babson, everything is real. Real businesses. Real experiences. Real impact.
