Resources & Training

Babson has a wide variety of community support systems and educational resources for our students, faculty, staff and alumni. For additional suggestions and guidance, please email the Office of Multicultural and Identity Programs or call 781-239-3890.

Students

The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Learning Platform

The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Learning Platform launched in February 2021. The platform, evaluated and selected by a cross-functional group, is an investment in our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and is customized for the Babson community. The DEIB Learning Platform will become a key component of student onboarding, helping to ensure that our entire community values different identities and lived experiences, and is equipped with the requisite skills and knowledge to engage in respectful, meaningful and constructive dialogue around diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

The platform also includes a set of survey questions that allow students to share thoughts about diversity, equity and inclusion at Babson. Responses collected will provide important qualitative and quantitative insights to thoughtfully inform follow-up learning, programming, policy, and critical decisions and actions.

Faculty and Staff

Faculty Committee for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Development

Responsible for embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion into core components of the faculty employment cycle, workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, training and support, succession planning, compensation and benefits, and critical skills gap analysis. Hosting sessions such as an anti-racism pilot program from Stanford University, the faculty committee brings poignant programming to our faculty.

For more information please see “From the Ground Up: New Faculty Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion,” at Babson Thought & Action.

Campus-Wide Groups

Babson invites all members of our campus to celebrate, learn, reflect, and continue the vital work of building a more diverse and inclusive Babson—ONE Babson—through knowledge, understanding, and action. Campus-wide organizations, such as the MLK Committee, Ebony Network, and a variety of other employee resource groups, are available.

Employee Resource Programs (EAP)

Our Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) is offered through Katherine Greer Associates (KGA) and includes resources to help you and your family members on your wellness journey. Employees have access to the EAP, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You may call KGA at 1-800-648-9557 or visit KGA’s website.
