Why I Chose Babson
In the part of Dallas I grew up in, only a fraction of the Hispanic students graduate from high school. In my family, only my sister and I have accomplished this, and walking across that stage was one of the best feelings of my life. I absolutely fell in love with Babson when I first visited campus. I’m thankful for receiving Babson’s Enrico Dallas Scholarship; without it, I’m not sure I would’ve ever made it to college.
How Babson Impacted My Career Development
Growing up, I was obsessed with the Food Network channel and wanted to become a chef. I realized at Babson that what I really love about cooking is seeing people’s reactions as they taste something completely new. I’m drawn to innovation and strategy consulting for a similar reason. I hope to deliver original, innovative ideas to my future clients and see that satisfaction on their faces when it brings them success.
What Others Need to Know About Babson
Before Babson, I never saw myself traveling abroad, presenting in a suit to the VPs of PUMA, or learning Korean. Now, I’ve accomplished all that and more! Today, thanks to Babson, I have a vision of what I want to come true.
