What piece of advice changed your life?
Cemeteries are the wealthiest place in the world because they are full of world-changing ideas people never had the guts to try. We should strive to die broke.
How has being a member of the Babson community helped impact your career?
At Babson, one tunes into a beautiful way of thinking—once you are exposed to that, it is impossible to change channels! The people I met are committed to effect the change they want to see in the world, and are solving problems while creating opportunities for others. This inspired me to write Tales of A(d)Venture, and promulgate entrepreneurial thinking among the public, particularly children.
Why does the world need more leaders with an entrepreneurial mindset?
Because the world will never stop changing, even if we don’t know how to prepare for change. An entrepreneurial mindset is resourceful, can navigate ambiguity, and goes beyond profit-purpose dichotomies. It creates value for all irrespectively of the circumstances.
What do others need to know about Babson?
A Babson education is unlike anything else because it helps you acquire a growth mindset.
