What is your pre-Babson experience?

I previously attended Bandung Institute of Technology and Padjadjaran University. I am a serial entrepreneur. During my first year of college, I created a private tutoring business. I’ve also opened a farming business and a catering business while studying at university.

Why did you choose Babson for your graduate education?

I am an entrepreneur. I chose Babson because I wanted to focus on that value, and Babson is well known for its entrepreneurship program. Babson is full of amazing resources for entrepreneurs, either for launching new ideas or expanding existing businesses.

What are your career goals?

After Babson, I want to go back to Indonesia. Aside from expanding my existing businesses, I want to create a business incubator and accelerator to help startups—especially those run by university students—grow their business and create jobs after graduation. My professor, Caroline Daniels, has been supporting me by introducing me to people already running incubators and accelerators. While still a student, I plan to join the Blank Center to begin to take action on my idea.

As a Babson student, what do you do when not in class?

I am involved with Babson’s Lewis Institute for Social Innovation. Social innovation is something that I really want to understand better and apply to my business. The Lewis Institute is a great resource if you want to create a business while making a social impact simultaneously. They have great programs including MBA Impact Hours, Inventureship, and Babson Board Fellows.

What was your favorite part of the Babson student experience?

I’ve met amazing people at Babson, and all come from very diverse backgrounds. At Babson, I feel like I’m part of a big family. I’ve also loved the amazing experiences I’ve had in group projects such as Babson’s Signature Learning Experience and the Babson Consulting Alliance Program. Those projects give students the chance to implement our knowledge and skills while working with people from all different backgrounds. Every team faces different challenges with each project, and we share everything in class and learn from it together.
