What is your pre-Babson experience?

Before coming to Babson, I worked at FAF Valve Company and served as its chief representative in China, and I previously attended Beijing Jiaotong University.

Why did you choose Babson for your graduate education?

When I was looking for a well-rounded business education that features entrepreneurship and practicality, Babson stood out as the best fit.

As a Babson student, what did you do when not in class?

I was in the badminton club and archery club. During weekly practices, I met students from Babson’s graduate and undergraduate schools. I was also a coach in the Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program, where I, with other graduate students and alumni, offered leadership coaching to undergraduate students. Finally, I was a member of the accelerator at the Blank Center, where I met professors, alumni, and students to work on our entrepreneurial ideas.

What was your favorite part of the Babson student experience?

The people. Students are more collaborative than competitive. Great professors are available to help students learn and students don’t need to compete for professors’ attention in or out of class, or even after graduation.

What do others need to know about Babson?

Babson’s support doesn’t end the day students graduate. True Babson beavers carry on the enterprising spirit, apply what they learned to reality, and support their fellow beavers wherever they go in the world. After graduating, I am surprised that I've met many amazing alumni who share a passion for entrepreneurship, no matter when they went to Babson. I just had breakfast with a Chinese alum who went to Babson almost 40 years before I did!
