Fall 2025 Consulting Industry Recruiting Event
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
On-Campus
Consulting Industry Recruiting Event Friday, September 12, 2025 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Knight Auditorium, Babson College What is the Consulting Industry Recruiting Event? This event is a chance for students to explore careers in Consulting by meeting with several companies that are currently recruiting for Consulting roles. The goal for the Consulting Industry Recruiting Event is for students to learn more about the companies and their internship and full-time opportunities. When you get to the event, you'll notice QR codes at each employer table. Scan the QR code at tables you're interested in to have your Handshake profile, resume, & contact information shared with the recruiters. Only public profile information will be shared, so be sure to check your settings before the event. Handshake will send you a summary of the companies you met with after the event. To make the process fast and simple, make sure your Handshake account is updated and download the Handshake app head of time. Who should attend? Students who are interested in careers in the Consulting industry. Open to Juniors and Seniors. Why should you attend? Meet employers in the Consulting industry who are actively hiring, and expand your understanding of the diverse range of companies and roles in this space. Build your network by establishing relationships with employers, alums, and peers. What is the dress code? Business Professional attire. What is the format? The event will begin with a period of open networking. Employers will be stationed at high-tops and students are free to roam. You will then sit at a round table with a small group of students. Employers will rotate to your group to give you a "mini-info session" of their firm and career opportunities. There will be time during each rotation for students to ask questions. There may also be time for additional networking at the end. What should I bring? Please bring a notebook/tablet and pen/stylus to take notes during your round-table discussions, hard copies of your resume (if you have one; if you don't, come anyway!). How can I prepare? Please come to this event prepared by looking at the participating companies, reviewing their websites and the job/internship opportunities that are currently posted in Handshake. You only have one chance to make a first great impression, so come prepared! Need to update your resume or develop your strategy and networking approach? Schedule an appointment with a Career Adviser or attend drop-in advising with the Peer Career Ambassadors. What skills will I develop? It's one thing to know your stuff, it's quite another to show you have the skills to work well with people and get things done. By attending this event, you will sharpen your communication and collaboration skills by engaging in dialogue in both round table and open networking formats. You will develop your critical thinking skills by paying attention, sharing innovative ideas, and asking insightful questions. Finally, you will develop leadership skills. Leadership is often not about taking charge, rather it's the ability to use interpersonal skills effectively. Is registration required? Registration is recommended. The expectation is that you attend the event from 1:00pm-3:00pm. However, CCD recognizes that students have a variety of commitments, including academic, athletic, and religious that may result in a late arrival or early departure for a career related event. If you cannot attend the entire event please contact CCD at UndergradCCD@babson.edu to let us know if you will be late or need to leave early. If you are no longer able to attend, please un-register for the event in Handshake. How can I request accommodation? To request reasonable accommodation from CCD, students must contact Accessibility Services at accessibility@babson.edu or by phone at 781-239-4100.
