Financial Times Ranks Babson a Top MBA for Entrepreneurship Worldwide

Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business is once again recognized by the world’s leading global business publication, Financial Times, as one of the best MBA programs for entrepreneurship worldwide.

Financial Times’ FT 2018 Top MBAs for Entrepreneurship, names Babson No. 2 behind only Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Babson ranks No. 1 for percentage of alumni who launch a business after graduation.

“We are pleased to be among the top MBA programs for entrepreneurship in the world,” says Murata Dean Keith Rollag. “A Babson MBA uniquely prepares students to be entrepreneurial, action-oriented leaders who will continue to change the world for the better.”

Babson is ranked ahead of top institutions such as Dartmouth College No. 3, Harvard Business School No. 9, MIT: Sloan No. 11, University of Pennsylvania: Wharton No. 14, and Yale School of Management No. 15.

Data were collected from the MBA class of 2014 as part of the publication’s annual Global MBA ranking. Criteria included the percentage of graduates who created their own companies, the percentage of alumni startups still operating at the end of 2017, the extent to which the school and alumni network helped in their entrepreneurial pursuits, and more.

Results of the alumni survey ranked Babson in the top 10 for the extent to which the skills gained during the MBA encouraged the entrepreneurs to start a company, and the extent to which the business school helped start the company.

Babson’s MBA program is offered in a variety of formats at Babson’s Wellesley, Boston, Miami, San Francisco, and Dubai locations.
