“Algorithmics” Exhibition by Lina Maria Giraldo at Babson College
Lina Giraldo has shown in Boston, Bogota, and Santa Fe. Her work has been reviewed in the Boston Globe, The Phoenix, and ABC. Most recently, Lina Giraldo’s pieces Rain and Dumping were on display on the Boston Convention Center Screen.
Her gallery, “Algorithmics,” will be shown at Babson College from January 31-March 14th.

About Lina Giraldo
Lina Giraldo is a Boston-New York based Creative technologist, Media Artist and Interaction designer who loves to experiment and research for ways to implement technology in everyday life. Giraldo believes in the power of information and the implementation of the user’s experience due to the variance of their geographic locations and personal needs.
Lina Giraldo holds a Master of Professional Studies degree (MPS) on Interactive Communications (ITP) from the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University, where she was the recipient of both the Tisch School Scholarship and the Paulette Godard. Giraldo was also awarded the Tsongas Scholarship at Mass College of Art, where she majored in Studio of interrelated Media (SIM) with Departmental Honors and Academic Distinction.
Lina Giraldo’s work has been displayed in galleries and shows as well as public spaces throughout Boston, New York and Colombia. She completed an artist residency at the Santa Fe Art Institute.
In the last decade, she has been highlighted in many different news sources and programs including The Boston Globe, The Boston Phoenix, Big Red and Shiny, the South End News, local TV shows, and ABC news.
