When most people think entrepreneurship they think starting a business.  However, entrepreneurs in increasing numbers are breaking that mold, thinking about entrepreneurship in bold new ways.  They think entrepreneurship can solve poverty. They think it can solve problems with healthcare and the environment. They think entrepreneurship can solve education issues. More and more, entrepreneurship is becoming the solution to some of our toughest social challenges.
Babson is among the leaders of the social entrepreneurship movement, identifying it as a desire to do well with the passion to seize on real social opportunity.
Co-hosted by the Alumni Social Entrepreneurship Affinity Group and the Lewis Institute, this inaugural event will focus on the widespread appeal of social entrepreneurship at top business schools, what it means, and how to get involved.
Cost is $10, non-refundable. Faculty, staff and students enter ‘ENRICH12’ for discount. Click here to register or visit www.babson.edu/alumni/events.
