The 1st Babson Forum on Entrepreneurship is taking place in Kigali, Rwanda this week, hosted by the Babson College-Rwanda Entrepreneurship Center. 

Leading entrepreneurs and business leaders are attending the session on “Entrepreneurial Leadership and Venture Growth”. 

More than 30 persons from organizations working on entrepreneurial development are meeting to create an “Entrepreneurship Alliance.” 

The Babson College-Rwanda Entrepreneurship Center has been established in Kigali to focus on developing entrepreneurs throughout Rwanda. The first of its kind in Rwanda, it is staffed by Babson and housed within the Rwandan Private Sector Federation (PSF). 

Babson graduates Ben Cox ’10 and Chris Smith ’09 Global Entrepreneurship Program ’10 serve in Rwanda as Center project directors. Undergraduate School Dean Dennis Hanno is the Center Executive Director. Follow Dean Hanno's tweets from the conference @dhanno.
