Babson’s Center For Information Management Studies And Ouellette & Associates Offer Leadership Series For IT Professionals
For the third year in a row, Babson College’s Center for Information Management Studies (CIMS) and Ouellette & Associates (O&A) will offer a series of IT Leadership and Professional Development programs to companies in the greater Boston region.
The 2010-2011 series of IT programs will include:
- November 9-10, 2010— Business Requirements Management
- December 14-15, 2010— Consulting Skills for the IT Professional
- January 24-25, 2011—Marketing the IT Organization Internally
“CIMS sponsors have been enthusiastic about our programs and we are encouraged to move ahead with new offerings,” said Babson CIMS Executive Director, Kavin Moody. “Over the years we have maintained an advisory panel of CIMS sponsors to make sure we are meeting their needs. It’s all about relationships, and staying close to real world issues has kept CIMS successful for 25 years!” he said.
According to O&A President Dan Roberts, “CIO’s and IT leaders across the country are more committed than ever to transforming their culture and moving their people out of the reactive, order taker role that has become their comfort zone. These leaders know that in order to meet the needs of today’s ever changing, increasingly complex business environment that their people will have to operate as consultative business partners. This will entail a new mindset and skill set which is addressed in our Babson CIMS series.”
These programs will take place at the world-ranked Babson Executive Conference Center at Babson College in Wellesley, MA.
