KATHRYN D. KARLIC, CFA, JOINS THE BABSON CUTLER CENTER ADVISORY BOARD
Kathryn D. Karlic, CFA, Group Vice President, Institutional Investment Management, Wilmington Trust, has joined the Board of Advisors of the Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments and Finance at Babson College.
Karlic leads the Institutional Investment Management business which provides asset allocation, portfolio management, and custody services to corporations, governments and nonprofit enterprises. Karlic’s responsibilities include overseeing institutional sales, client service, and product management. She is also the Chief Client Officer for Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, the investment advisory arm of M & T Bank. Karlic is a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Team and co-chairs the Portfolio Management and Client Committee.
Karlic has more than three decades of investment management experience. Prior to joining M & T bank, Karlic held executive positions at General Electric Asset Management, including President of Institutional Sales and Marketing, Chief Investment Officer – Fixed Income, and Trustee of GE’s benefit plans. Earlier in her career, she spent 17 years at CitiGroup in various investment roles including Director of Research – Fixed Income and Portfolio Management.
Karlic holds an MS in Accounting from the University of Hartford and a bachelor’s degree from Babson College. She holds her Series 63, 7, and 24 securities licenses. Karlic is a Board of Trustee Member for Daemen College. She is a prior member of the United States Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee.
