WELLESLEY -- Katherine Craven, former Executive Director of the UMass Building Authority and Assistant Vice President for Capital Finance for the University of Massachusetts, has been named Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Babson College.

As CAO, Craven will apply her experience overseeing multi-billion dollar agencies, directing enterprise strategy and managing financial forecasting to supervise numerous critical operations at Babson. These operations include Campus/Community Affairs, Human Resources, Facilities, Finance, IT, Risk Management, Summer Programs and Sustainability.

“Katherine Craven’s 20-year track record in government and higher education, and her highly regarded approach to team building and community engagement, makes her an exceptional fit to lead our administrative and business operations during this critical time,” said Babson President Kerry Healey.
