BABSON NAMED NO. 1 BUSINESS COLLEGE FOR ROI, ACCORDING TO PAYSCALE 2015 COLLEGE RETURN ON INVESTMENT REPORT
Babson College again has been named the No. 1 business college for return on investment (ROI), according to PayScale Inc., the world’s leading provider of on-demand compensation data and software.
According to the 2015 PayScale College ROI Report, Babson alumni who do not receive financial aid enjoy a 20-year net ROI of $812,800. The 20-year net ROI for alumni who receive financial aid is even greater—$946,500.
PayScale has ranked Babson No. 5 overall among all U.S. colleges for ROI, ahead of Stanford, MIT, and Princeton.
“It is pleasing to receive continued recognition of the value of the Babson education by PayScale,” said President Kerry Healey. “This is an affirmation of what is no secret to the Babson community: that Babson educates entrepreneurial leaders who create great economic and social value—everywhere.”
“How much student loan debt college kids and their families take on has serious implications for their future financial health. With average student loan debt hovering around $30,000, students can’t afford not to consider earning potential post-graduation. This is why PayScale produces an annual College ROI Report. We want to ensure that students have access to the best information available when evaluating the financial return on their college investment and when making decisions on how to best fund their education,” said Lydia Frank, editorial director, PayScale.
