BABSON STUDENT NAMED EY GLOBAL YOUTH ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR
Dagim Girma ’18 has been named the 2015 Ernst & Young (EY) Global Youth Entrepreneur Of The Year.
As a high school student, Dagim founded The Audible - a social media website dedicated to sports fans, with which he competed in the 2014 NFTE National Business Challenge and came in second.
After first being named the EY DC Region Young Entrepreneur of the Year (pdf) last year, he was honored to learn that he was named the 2015 EY Global Youth Entrepreneur of the Year, and would travel to Monte Carlo to represent NFTE and expand his growing network of renowned global leaders.
“Thanks to the many opportunities with NFTE and EY, I've had the pleasure of working with professional organizations, building a fan base, and meeting important influencers including President Obama, Kevin Plank, and more,” said Dagim Girma ’18. “Since founding The Audible, I’ve made it my mission to change the world through entrepreneurship. I am proud that I chose Babson, and am excited for what’s to come.”
