In 2008, President Len Schlesinger signed the American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment (ACUPCC), committing the College to develop and implement a plan to achieve climate neutrality. Since then, stakeholders across campus have worked hard to bring sustainability at Babson to the next level.
In the last couple of years Babson has established a Sustainability Office, added a new concentration in environmental sustainability, and completed two major energy efficiency projects at both the Babson Skating Rink and the Babson Executive Conference Center.
This forum will take a closer look at these projects as well as other accomplishments to-date. We will also look ahead to the future of sustainability at the College.
In November 2009, the Babson Alumni Green Forum hosted the first ‘Sustainability at Babson’ panel.  To get a glimpse of where Babson was over 2 years ago and set the stage for the update, listen to the podcast.
Hosted by the Alumni Green Forum and Babson Sustainability Office, the forum will take place in the Needham/Wellesley Room of Olin Hall or you may listen via Webinar.
The cost is $10; students, faculty, and staff enter “ENRICH12” for a discount. Register for the in-person or webinar option
