  • Your message should be in a sealed envelope, with the first and last name of the candidate on it and clearly marked Undergraduate Ceremony.
  • Only standard-size greeting cards will be accepted.

On Commencement day, all parking areas except for the reserved parking around the Webster Center will be available to guests. While at first glance, Babson may appear to have more than adequate parking, we assure you that every lot is full on Commencement day. Some parking areas are a 10- to 15-minute walk to the ceremony site; therefore, we recommend that guests arrive early.

Babson College is located in Wellesley, Massachusetts. The campus is approximately 14 miles west of Boston. If you drive, allow ample time to reach the campus. Travel on campus may be slow because of heavy traffic. Please do not block access roads around the residence halls, as seniors will be vacating the residence halls immediately following the ceremony.

Uber/Car Service drop off point will be in lower Knight Parking Lot.

Babson hosts, identified by green ribbons on their name tags, will be stationed throughout the campus on Commencement day to provide assistance.

Medical services will be available at the first-aid vehicle, located on the field.

To further contribute to a safe and efficient environment for your graduates, guests, and faculty, we are strongly encouraging customers to take advantage of our online flower pre-order service. We will have a contact-free customer experience for guests who are simply picking up their pre-purchased and reserved product. This will also increase overall physical distancing measures.

Restrooms are located on both floors of the Webster Center and in the residence halls adjacent to the field. In addition, there will be portable facilities close to the Commencement tent area. Facilities are handicap accessible.

As we honor the achievements of our graduates, we also continue to prioritize the health and safety of our community. Please be aware of the following Covid recommendations for Commencement:

  • Individuals who are not up-to-date with Covid-19 vaccination should test in advance of attending Commencement events and must mask when indoors.

Anyone who is sick or experiencing Covid-19 symptoms should stay home and may not participate in any in-person events. Our ceremonies will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person.

Both undergraduate and graduate ceremonies will be held outdoors, under a tent on the upper athletic fields. Attendees who prefer to mask are welcome to do so and there will be room for social distancing.

Discussions are underway regarding smaller indoor ceremonies and celebrations and additional information for specific events will be communicated as needed.

Decisions regarding Covid protocols continue to be driven by campus data, informed by federal, state and local public health guidance, and made in consultation with Babson’s external consultants, Environmental Health & Engineering (EHE).
