Yaman O. Erzurumlu, CFA is a Visiting Research Scholar at Babson College. He earned his PhD in Finance from University of Central Florida. Dr. Erzurumlu also teaches graduate level courses at Bahcesehir University Istanbul. Dr. Erzurumlu has been a visiting academic scholar previously at Istanbul Technical University, Sabanci University, and Bilgi University.
His main research interest areas are mutual and pension funds, ESG, innovation and entrepreneurial finance, and application of machine learning and AI in finance. He published in journals including Technovation, Emerging Markets Finance and Trade, World Patent Information, Resources Policy, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management.
Dr. Erzurumlu has been working in industry university collaborative projects as academic consultant granted by Turkish Scientific Association in fields of risk management, application of AI in Fintech product development and Marketplace application in Banking Industry. He sits in the board of risk management companies in Turkey. He is also partner in a professional theater company Kumbaraci50 for the past 25 years.
