Babson Olympiad

High School Pitch Competition

Where Big Ideas Win Big

Our 2020 Babson Olympiad has been cancelled this year. Please consider our 2020 Babson Online Summer Study program.

The Babson Olympiad is a virtual high school pitch competition that brings together teams of young entrepreneurs from around the world to battle their venture ideas. As the #1 College for Entrepreneurship, Babson College is proud to host this spring event where young entrepreneurs identify opportunities for innovation, share with peers and industry experts about the value they are capable of adding, and ask for the resources they need to move forward.

The Pitch: 3 Minutes, 3 Slides, 1 Awesome Idea

Your team will have three minutes and three slides to pitch your venture idea. The video pitch should feature your team presenting in coordination with the 3 slides that showcase your venture. For the complete competition criteria, view our Babson Olympiad Pitch Criteria (PDF).

Describe the opportunity or challenge you have explored. How is the solution you have proposed innovative?

Estimate your target market size, identify the competition, and describe your marketing strategy.

Describe the outcomes of your soft launch and how you determined your venture idea is feasible.

How the Olympiad Works

STEP 1: Throw Your Hat in the Ring - Register Your Team

STEP 2: Let the Battle Begin - Upload Your Pitch Video

STEP 3: Final Round - Finalists Announced and Finalist Round Judges Review Presentations

STEP 4: Big Ideas Win Big - Winners Announced

We’ll be showcasing our winners on our Babson website and social media channels. Beyond bragging rights, winners will receive prize money to reinvest in their entrepreneurial dreams.

We view immigrants not as victims, but instead as a vibrant, resilient and underserved market that will drive the expansion of America’s future. This is why we created ImmAID, a first-generation woman-run business that aims to connect immigrants to services like community centers, English classes, and discussion forums. Our one-stop-shop website with premium subscription, priced at $5.99 a month, gives users access to job fairs, networking events, and private chat boxes. We are local, online, and will start in the Boston area with expansion to other cities using local stakeholders.

Pitch competition previously called Babson Boston Cup.
