Group 36: Managing Troubled Companies in Crises and Survivals | Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring | $1,500

Crises accelerate “creative destruction” – destruction of Gorillas (large firms) and the creation and emergence of Monkeys (small startups). In the 1960s, an average U.S. gorilla lived for 60 years. Today, they live for about 20 years. The largest 1,000 global gorillas are dying faster than ever before. In most situations, the gorillas have been disrupted or degraded by young, fast, flexible, more innovative and entrepreneurial monkeys like Netflix, Alibaba, Xiaomi, Haier, Airbnb, Geely, BYD, Uber, Workday, Zoom, and others.

Group 36: Managing Troubled Companies in Crises and Survivals is a private board program, limited to 20 participants. This is coaching program led by one faculty and two senior executives from large Silicon Valley companies. This program is for owners, presidents, and general managers.

Group 36 Summer: June 15 – 19, 2020. Group 36 Fall: October 12 – 16, 2020. Group 36 Winter: January 18 – 22, 2021. Group 36 Spring: April 12 – 16, 2021.
