Course Description:

MOB7250 Leading and Managing Effectively (3 credits) Leading and Managing Effectively studies the core issues of entrepreneurial leadership: how to get things done when you can't give orders, how to develop influence and build effective teams and organizations, how to identify the ways in which organizational processes and culture create the context for effective or ineffective organizational performance, and how to identify and help develop talent in yourself as well as others. There will be opportunity for practicing entrepreneurial leader behaviors including influence, stakeholder analysis, action planning, self-assessment and reflection; students will be exposed to a wide range of leaders and organizational contexts throughout the course and will be challenged to consider how to make progress to becoming a truly effective leader and manager.
