Kemper Watson

Class of 2021

Hometown: Dallas, Texas
High School: JJ Pearce High School
Academic Interests: Branding and Sales
Clubs/Activities: Delta Sigma Pi, Student Government, Squash, Ping Pong
Favorite Spot on Campus: The Quad on a Sunny Day
Favorite Book/Movie: The Grand Budapest Hotel
Why Babson: Three key things drew me to Babson: diversity, warmth, and drive.
Being from Texas, I hadn’t experienced much diversity and next to no experience with folks from outside the country. Babson has opened my eyes to the world and how to work with people from different places and experiences.
Immediately on campus, I got a sense of warmth from the students here. It is a friendly, social, and uplifting place and it makes you want to get out and talk to people and try new things constantly.
Finally, the drive of the Babson community is inspiring. Everyone is so involved and motivated, but not in a way that is in any way discouraging to the rest of the students. Drive at Babson breeds more drive.
