Overview

Established in 2014, a small, highly talented group of international students is awarded need-based scholarships as part of our Global Scholars Program.Students selected for the Global Scholars Program will receive four-year, full-tuition scholarships. Global Scholars with greater levels of financial need will also be awarded additional grant funds, in varying amounts based on need, to help with room and board, books and supplies, health insurance, and travel expenses.

Overview

Babson takes great pride in the families that choose to send multiple members of their families to Babson. The first person in a family to graduate from Babson is considered the Legend and any of their children, grandchildren, or siblings that follow are considered a Babson Legacy. Overview

Head coach Dave Cannon, who in his 25 seasons, has guided the Beavers to 23 or more victories sixteen times, which includes five seasons of at least 30 wins. He has led the Beavers to four NEWMAC Tournament titles and six NCAA Tournament appearances, including the program’s first Super Regional berth in 2017.

Overview

Matt Noone is in his 22nd season as head coach of Babson's Baseball program, has won more than 400 games and made seven postseason appearances, which includes leading the Beavers' first trip to the Division III College World Series in 2019. Noone has led the Green and White to 20 winning seasons and 22 or more wins on 14 occasions. He guided the Beavers to 26 victories in 2008 and led the program to its first NCAA Tournament win in 2009. Noone also led Babson to 25 wins in 2011 and helped his 2014 and 2016 squads advance to the NEWMAC Tournament championship series.

Jamie Rice has enjoyed great success in his 19 years as head coach at his alma mater, guiding the program to an overall record of 308-154-45 (.652), four ECAC East Tournament championships and the 2022 New England Hockey Conference Tournament title.

Eric Neely is in his 13th season as Babson’s head women’s volleyball coach and has led the program to unparalleled success since arriving prior to the 2011 campaign. He has guided the Green and White to 20 or more victories eight times, has helped the Beavers capture four NEWMAC Tournament championships and has led his squads to seven NCAA Tournament berths.

Overview

One of oldest programs at Babson, the Men's Golf Team boasts more than six decades of history. Officially begun in the spring of 1948, the program has amassed nine conference championships, four regional titles, and eight team trips to the NCAA Tournament.
In 2023, a Women’s Golf Team was established becoming the 23rd Varsity Program at the College.

Overview

Julie Ryan, in her 17th season as head coach, has taken the field hockey program to new heights. Under her tutelage, the Beavers have won 11 or more games in 15 of her 16 seasons. They won 3 straight NEWMAC conference titles in 2021, 2022, & 2023 for a total of five in program history and have been NCAA tournament seven times, and 2 final fours.

Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving

Overview

Eric Thurston, in his two seasons as head coach, has guided the men's team to a 9-4 record in dual meets and a third-place finish at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships with 725 points, the highest finish and most points for the program since 2002. Thurston led the women's program to a 6-8 mark in dual meets and a seventh-place finish at the NEWMAC Championships with 332 points, the second-highest total in program history. In addition, the Beaver men broke six program records and the women established five new standards during the 2022-23 campaign.

Overview

Jack Long '15 MSF '18, head coach since August 2023, has helped the Babson women capture their first MacConnell Division regular season title since 1992 to go along with a first-place finish in the combined standings at the United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) Eastern Regional Championships. Not to be outdone, the Babson men finished second in both the MacConnell Division standings and at the eastern regionals to qualify to earn their 15th straight USCSA National Championships appearance.

Overview

The first varsity women's team in Babson Athletics history, women's basketball has consistently ranked as one of the College's top programs. In its 39 years of existence, the team has won six conference championships, claimed one state title, and made 18 postseason appearances, including six trips to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The program has also produced numerous individual stars, including seven members of the Babson Athletics Hall of Fame.

Overview

Russ Brennen, in his 20th season, has guided the Beavers to their highest point total in program history at the 2022 conference meet. The Babson men have posted each of their seven highest point totals at the NEWMAC Championships since 2015, and his athletes have collected eight individual event titles and 22 all-conference awards, all but two of which have been earned since 2013. The women’s teams have recorded three of the five highest point totals at the conference championships since 2017. Six athletes have won an individual event title and the Beavers have claimed 10 all-conference awards

Jon Anderson ’75, who was inducted into the Babson Athletics Hall of Fame in 2013, is in his 38th season as the Beavers’ head men’s soccer coach. As of 2023, he has led Babson to 15 conference championships and 20 NCAA Tournament appearances.

The Beavers enjoyed continued success in 2023 as the men's program reached #18 in the ITA Division III national ranking, captured the NEWMAC regular season crown, and advanced to the NEWMAC Tournament title match. The Babson women's program reached a Division III national ranking of #9 before finishing the season ranked #13, captured the conference regular season title and advanced to the final of the NEWMAC Tournament, advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament as a team, and sent two women to the NCAA National Singles and Doubles Championships with Babson represented in the finals o

Overview

Rocky Batty, in his sixth season as head coach, captured the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) regular season and tournament championships and made an appearance in the third round of the NCAA Tournament. The Green and White were recognized as Batty and his assistants were voted NEWMAC Coaching Staff of the Year while the team also earned nine All-Conference selections, including Player and Defensive Players of the Year. Babson also had one second team All-American, two honorable mention All-Americans and four All-Region selections.

Overview

With more than two decades of history, the men's and women's cross-country programs have enjoyed great success at Babson. Between 1990 and 1996, the Beavers had 13 runners receive All-Conference honors, including all-time greats Eric Sullivan '94, Brian Dowd '97, and Babson Athletics Hall of Fame member Joey Curtis '92. Babson has also had three conference Runner of the Year recipients, one conference Rookie of the Year, seven All-ECAC honorees and four All-New England selections.
