Interim Director | Sr. Associate Director, Corporate Relations and Recruitment
Jaime is the Interim Director of the Hoffman Family Undergraduate Center for Career Development (CCD). She is an accomplished higher education professional with 8+ years of experience in career development, campus recruiting, and building corporate partnerships. She also has oversight of CCD’s operations and marketing strategy while providing leadership and strategic support in developing and executing the career center’s mission: to empower every student from day one to develop pathways to professional success and lifelong learning and fulfillment.
As Senior Associate Director of Corporate Relations and Recruitment, she oversees the undergraduate recruiting program and manages corporate relations within the career center. She is responsible for strategic development of employer relations to establish and maintain partnerships with employers interested in recruiting Babson talent through recruiting programs, jobs, internships, and experiential opportunities. Jaime’s career at Babson began in 2002 where, before joining CCD, she was the Director of Campus and Community Events within the Events Management Office.
Prior to Babson College, Jaime worked in start-up, agency, and corporate environments in the fields of marketing, public relations, and sales and recruiting. Jaime earned her B.A. in Business Psychology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Larinda Cole is a caring career coach to undergraduate students seeking to make an impact in society with meaningful business careers in retail, marketing, consumer products, and technology. Prior to joining the Center for Career Development team, she served as the director of Experiential Education and Career Services at Newbury College, supporting students and alumni in their career pursuits, and managing the academic internship program and study abroad programs. In addition to supporting students in their career development, she has eight years of experience in several areas of higher education, including teaching as an associate professor in fashion merchandising at Newbury College and as an assistant professor of fashion merchandising at Virginia State University.
She also has served her community in higher education leadership as president of faculty senate and as a dean’s council member. Her corporate and small business experiences include merchandise planning, sales, marketing, and operations positions at Target Corporation, Juicy Couture, Ann Taylor Inc., and Quality Moving Services Inc. She earned her BA in fashion merchandising from Virginia Commonwealth University and her MS in apparel, housing, and resource management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Assistant Director, Career Services
Tyler is responsible for general career advising to undergraduate students. Having worked in residence life for several years, he brings with him a well-rounded awareness of the student college experience, and student development. Tyler collaborates with the entire Center of Career Development team in supporting the integrated and holistic approach of the office.
Prior to joining the team, Tyler worked in marketing and communications at Dexter Southfield. He has several years of higher education experience, having worked at St. Joseph’s College of Maine, Bryant University, and UC San Diego. Tyler earned his B.A. in Studio Art from Salve Regina University, and a M.S. in Education from St. Joseph’s College of Maine.
Associate Director, Counseling
Lee is responsible for the advising and career education of undergraduate students. She works in collaboration with the entire Center for Career Development team to build strategies that support the office’s integrated and holistic approach, and takes a leadership role in supporting and assessing counseling and resource offerings.
Prior to joining the team, Lee worked at Clark University as Associate Director of Career Services, supporting students and alumni in their career pursuits, and managing the academic internship program.
Lee has experience in several areas of higher education including human resources, alumni relations and development, student research, and as an adjunct instructor. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Brandeis University and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Linda manages the front desk and welcomes guests to the Career Center. In this position, she assists students, employers, and the Career Center team Linda’s role supports students with the navigation of the Handshake site, manages the staff calendar, and receives and directs telephone and email inquiries. Linda also processes the financial affairs of the Career Center.
Linda comes from a background in events management and obtained her B.A. from Boston College.
Sr. Associate Director, Employer Engagement & Career Advising
Caroline provides individual and group student advising on career development and job search strategies for undergraduate students that are interested in the Financial Services industry. Caroline is responsible for working in collaboration with the entire Center for Career Development team to build strategies that support the office’s integrated and holistic approach to career development. This includes taking a leadership role in supporting and assessing employer partnerships and providing key thought leadership in the area of employer engagement best practices and experiential education.
Caroline joined the Center for Career Development in 2010 as the Employer Relations Manager where she established and maintained relationships with employers interested in recruiting Babson talent. Prior to joining the CCD team at Babson College, Caroline worked on the Asset Management Recruiting team at Fidelity Investments helping to support graduate and undergraduate recruiting efforts. Caroline earned her B.A. in English from Loyola Marymount University and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. from Babson College.
Associate Director, International Relationship Manager
Hao provides career guidance and employment strategies to international undergraduate students as well as domestic students who are interested in working abroad. In addition to these, Hao is responsible for developing international employer relationships to expand Babson’s footprint and provide more opportunities for our student body.
Hao comes to Babson with strong experience in M&A in the Tech Sector. She served as Partner at Wilton Partners/CDI Global M&A, and Senior Vice President at IT ExchangeNet and Martin Wolf Securities. Hao holds an MBA with a specialization in International Finance from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix, Arizona. She holds a Bachelor of Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in China. Hao is a CFA charter holder and a member of Beta Gama Sigma Honor Society. Hao’s work experience spans work as a Senior VPs of M&A specializing in cross-border M&A transactions in US, China, India and Europe with clients such as Bain Capital, Staples, Inc. (Nasdaq:SPLS), Rolta India Ltd (BSE: 500366), Softchoice (TSX:SO), and Insight Enterprise (NADSQ:NSIT). She has worked for Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) in China. Hao enjoys mentoring and growing new employees. She lives in Needham with her husband and three kids.
Associate Director, Counseling
Brenda is an insightful and trusted career adviser to college students seeking to create social and economic value through meaningful business careers. With 20+ years of experience in corporate and higher education settings, she brings a keen awareness of the multidimensional issues of student development and career success.
Brenda collaborates closely with Babson’s Accounting Division and the Blank Center for Entrepreneurship to provide resources to students with interests in accounting and entrepreneurial careers. Prior to this role, Brenda managed a variety career programs for MBAs at Northeastern University and Babson College, and for MS and PhD students at Boston College. Her corporate experience includes accounting and finance positions at the TJX Companies and Arthur Andersen & Co. Brenda earned her BA (American Studies) from Colby College, MSA from the University of Hartford, and MA (Higher Education Administration) from Boston College.
Associate Director, Experiential Education
Arline MacCormack is the Associate Director of Experiential Programs. In her role, Arline manages student and employer participation in experiential opportunities including: Undergraduate Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) Program, Career Exploration Lab (CEL), Intern Sponsorship, and Externship Programs. Arline also assists with planning and delivery of UG field based curricula.
Prior to joining the CCD team, Arline spent 7 years working in the Office of Student Life here at Babson College as the Coordinator of Housing Operations. Arline earned a B.A. in Psychology from University of Massachusetts and a M.A. in Higher Education from Boston College.
Corporate Relations Coordinator
Kassio oversees and coordinates operations of the recruiting program. He is the main point of contact between employers and the students throughout the recruiting season. He is also responsible for approving and declining new employers that want to recruit Babson talent and post jobs on our Handshake platform. Kassio works closely with Jaime Doherty and Annie Bergeron in coordinating events such as spotlights, career fairs and student alumni panels to create employer engagement and brand knowledge among the Babson students.
Another part of his job is to assist advisers in marketing for their events with graphics and surveys, which our Undergrad Center Career Development depends tremendously to get feedback and understand how we are impacting the students and on how to improve our relationships with employers.
Prior to joining the team, Kassio worked in marketing, being a marketing assistant at Vibram. He also got his MBA from Suffolk University with a focus in Market Research and Consumer Insights, which falls right in place when he is showcasing results from data driven research to employers and our team.
