First Year Family Entrepreneurial Leadership Program
Did you know that 75% of all start-ups are family driven?
(Source: Global Entrepreneurship Monitor)
This means that if you are starting a business, you will most likely tap into your family for resources, advice, connections, etc. As we know, this can be hard to do. Our program is designed to empower you to leverage your family entrepreneurship legacy to launch your start-up.
Spots are very limited.
The First Year Family Entrepreneurial Leadership Program (FFEL) is a highly selective program that connects first year students from entrepreneurial families with like-minded peers to learn critical leadership and relationship skills needed to leverage family to chart your own path.
If you are selected to be part of FFEL, you will have an exclusive opportunity to apply for seed funding for your start-up in the spring semester. FFEL students will also have priority access to our family entrepreneurship experts.
Highly motivated incoming first year students who come from entrepreneurial families and want to start their own business.
You will work with a group of like-minded peers to:
Gain critical leadership skills needed to launch a successful start-up with family support.
Work on progressing through milestones related to your entrepreneurial initiative.
If you are selected to participate in the First Year Family Entrepreneurial Leadership (FFEL) program, you will commit to:

Presenting your end-of-semester progress which will determine if you will be invited to continue for the spring.
Presenting your entrepreneurial initiative at the end of the spring semester.
You will submit a written application (below).
