There is a buzz of activity that goes on day and night at Babson, often driven by innovative events spurred by the undergraduate community. Student clubs and organizations, departments, centers and institutes at Babson host events for undergraduate students that enhance the time students spend outside the classroom
Babson traditions include Founder's Day, Back to Babson, Family and Friends Weekend, Late Night Breakfast, and many student organization events.

Apr052024Volos Portfolio Solutions provides technology and solutions for institutional investors to construct custom systematic strategies using options and derivatives. Join Professor Ryan Davies as he welcomes Jeff Corrado and Dan Corcoran of Volos Portfolio Solutions, who will provide an overview of how to build common systematic options strategies with the Volos software and discuss best practices and important considerations around historical options strategy modeling. Following the overview, participants will have the opportunity to use Volos software to build their own custom equity options-based strategies, perform back-testing, and conduct a wide range of analyses. The session is intended for Babson students and faculty with prior knowledge of a combination of quantitative finance, derivatives, and/or trading strategies. Participants must be familiar with options payoff diagrams and option pricing terminology (i.e., the 'Greeks'). Prior option trading experience is preferred. Jeff and Dan are interested in participant feedback on the user interface and user experience. Advanced registration is required and space is limited. Find out more

You are invited to the Fast Track Showcase for developing businesses. Come meet the teams from the Butler Launch Pad Cohort program and hear them pitch! These teams have been working on their business ventures since September and will launch by June. Help them refine their go-to-market strategy! The Blank Center's Butler Launch Pad works to create opportunities to move student and alumni businesses forward. Within the Butler Launch Pad, the Fast Track Cohort program is a two term, fourteen week facilitated coaching program for a mix of 30 undergraduate, graduate, and alumni entrepreneurs. Participants meet weekly to get feedback, support each other, and work on their business playbooks. On April 11, we'll celebrate their progress and their journey.
