To effectively position and increase awareness of the entrepreneurial education programs Babson was offering former NFL players through its partnership with The Trust, an organization designed to help former players successfully transition to life off the field after football.
In addition to writing an article in Babson Magazine and a press release announcing the program, our team actively promoted program activities on social media, producing and sharing a video featuring classroom footage and player testimonials. We also pitched this inspiring program to a wide variety of local and national media outlets, working with The Trust to best facilitate promotional efforts.
Our media outreach resulted in an evening-news segment on CBS’s Boston affiliate, WBZ-TV, as well as an Associated Press story that was reposted on 264 media outlets, including The New York Times, ESPN, ABC News, and The Washington Post, that resulted in 549,599,516 impressions. Also, participants were actively engaged on social media, posting updates and pictures from their time in the program.
