Meet the EAPAs!

Hobbies: Running, biking, reading, writing, traveling

Favorite course abroad: Global Business Ethics

Favorite food abroad: All the Czech pastries

Contact me about: Budgeting for study abroad, community service abroad, Babson athletes abroad

During a typical day abroad I … went for my morning run, stopped to get coffee at a cafe, walked a mile to class with my friends, attended classes, studied at great new cafes during lunch, trekked back up the hill to go to my afternoon classes, walked home, stopped at the market for some groceries, I either made or went out to dinner each night, and then I usually went out with my friends. On the weekends, I spent time traveling or exploring my home city!

While abroad, I wish I had … more time to continue my experience. Getting sent home early because of COVID-19 was very hard because I had so much more I wanted to see and do. There were so many sights I had left to see in Prague and many more cities and countries I wanted to visit. But, even having the chance to go abroad was a very special opportunity I am lucky to have had, in the first place! I realized I got to see and do more in my short time abroad than most people do in their lifetime.

You should go abroad because … it is so wildly different from the Babson experience. My biggest takeaway from studying abroad was the new level of independence I found. While I consider myself an independent and adventurous person, normally, study abroad helped me incorporate independence, adventure, and experience into each part of my daily life!
