Sexual Health Promotion

Sexual Health Promotion is defined by a comprehensive, culturally-inclusive, evidence-based sexual health program inclusive of free-of-charge safer sex products for students.

Babson students have access to free safer sex supplies in multiple locations around campus. External condoms can be found in Reynold’s Campus Center bathrooms, and are restocked every Wednesday while school is in session. External condoms in a variety of sizes, colors and material are available in Health Services along with internal condoms, dental dams, and water-based lubricants. Bags are provided for privacy and convenience and we ask that you take what you need. If you're an RA looking for materials please email

If you’re sexually active, you can/have the option to get tested for sexual transmitted infections (STI). Health Services can test for a variety of STIs with an appointment, especially if you’re experiencing symptoms. If you’d like to be tested elsewhere, visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's website for local clinics and providers. Not sure what to get tested for? Use Planned Parenthood’s quiz, and speak to your provider to find out what’s right for you.

Safer sex products can help to provide protection from both STIs and pregnancy. Products are available in the restrooms in Reynolds and also Health Services Waiting Room. Health Services can also discuss and prescribe contraceptives, such as oral contraceptives (birth control pill).

Overwhelmed by all of the safer sex product options? Not sure how to use a particular product? Email Wellness & Prevention Services for an appointment with one of our staff to look at the products, discuss what might be best for you, and learn how to use them.

Looking for birth control in addition to STI prevention? Barrier methods, hormonal options, and more. Use Planned Parenthood’s quiz and speak to your provider to find out what’s right for you.

Think something didn’t go as planned? Use Planned Parenthood’s quiz to find out if Plan B might be right for you. It’s available at Health Services.

We offer groups and support for students designed to help understand one’s own sexuality. How we capture and define sexuality changes over time, and it is common to have questions. Want to talk? We are here.
