*As we monitor infection rates throughout the semester, Health Services will determine if masking is necessary when visiting our office. Please adhere to signs posted on the office door.

Immunization Documents

Health requirements were due April 1st, 2024, for Programs beginning in Summer Session 1. For students enrolled for the Fall, the due date is July 1st. Please submit your information ASAP!

If you recently uploaded your health and immunization documents, please wait to hear back from us. We will reach out after we have had an opportunity to review and verify your submissions.

Self Directed STI Clinic

Starting March 15th, students have the option to schedule Self Directed STI appointments through the Online Student Health Portal (OSH). Self Directed STI appointments will be available Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and appointment availability can be found under the "Appointments" tab in the OSH.

Mpox

Babson Health Services continues to monitor the status of the International Mpox outbreak and will update health and safety plans as needed per guidance from the CDC and MA Department of Public Health.

If you are seeking evaluation for a suspected case or for exposure to Mpox, please call the Health Services Office at 781-239-6363 prior to presenting in person for appropriate triage.

Required Forms for All New Incoming Students

Immunization requirements apply to all undergraduate and graduate students in any full-time program regardless of age. All part-time international students attending on any type of visa must also fulfill immunization requirements.

Note: The same forms are used for both the undergraduate and graduate programs.

Students must upload their documentation through the Student Health Portal. New students will need to create an account in order to access the portal.

The State of Massachusetts mandates that all college students (graduate and undergraduate) be immunized against certain preventable diseases. These include:

Measles, Mumps, Rubella
Tdap (tetanus, diptheria, pertussis)
Hepatitis B
Varicella (chicken pox)
Meningococcal (MenACWY vaccine)

The requirement includes 2 doses of measles, mumps and rubella vaccines (or 2 doses of combined MMR vaccine), 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine (or 2 doses of Heplisav-B vaccine on or after age 18), 2 doses of Varicella vaccine and 1 dose of Tetanus-Dipteria-Pertussis vaccine (after completing the primary series) within the past 10 years.

Babson will accept proof of immunity by blood test for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Hepatitis B. Students must submit laboratory evidence of immunity. “Reliable history of illness” from a medical professional is not accepted.

The college must ensure that all students are in compliance with this State mandated immunization law; therefore a student's enrollment process cannot be considered complete until the immunization requirements are fulfilled.

Completion of immunization requirements is expected prior to arrival on campus. For those students who are unable to complete their requirements prior to matriculation, Health Services offers immunizations on campus. The consequences for vaccination non-compliance may include any of the following: OneCard access restriction, “technology” block, inability to register for classes and ultimately removal from the in-person experience.

Transfer or MBA Students

Your previous institution may have copies of your immunization records. You may need to contact that institution′s Health Services to request these records.
