Babson College, ranked the number one college for entrepreneurship by U.S. News & World Report and Illuminate, an award-winning, Boston-based developer of innovative training programs for the global life sciences industry, collaborate to offer Babson’s forward-thinking B-AGILE (Babson Accelerator for Growth, Innovation and Entrepreneurial Leadership) program to its life science clients for the first time.
This fully virtual program combines the entrepreneurial knowledge of Babson with the industry expertise of Illuminate to create a unique curriculum structured specifically for life science sales professionals and tailored to the unique challenges inherent to the industry. Learners will be able to apply new business skills to drive themselves to become future leaders of their organization.
B-AGILE (Babson Accelerator for Growth, Innovation and Entrepreneurial Leadership) is a customizable, seven-week program consisting of seven, 90-minute interactive sessions designed to enhance an organization’s business acumen, professional growth, and inclusive and entrepreneurial leadership skills. Sessions are led by senior Babson faculty utilizing “Entrepreneurial Thought & Action®” —Babson’s trademarked solutions-focused teaching methodology–and can be customized to meet the needs of your organization. Through a combination of interactive case studies, class discussion, and team projects, participants will learn new ways of thinking to solve difficult problems, assess and mitigate risk, and learn techniques to lead with empathy and inclusivity.
Participants become an energized network within the organization, sharing a common vocabulary, innovation mindset, and set of practical tools to create new ideas, develop solutions, and advance them to become people with impact.
The program will be delivered virtually, with session topics that can be customized to best meet your organization’s specific learning objectives. Sessions are capped at 25 colleagues, to ensure each participant has the opportunity to have meaningful interactions with their peers.
Learners participate in one session per week for seven weeks. Each session is 90 minutes and focuses on a specific topic. Most sessions include an interactive case study and class discussion customized with organization-specific learning content. Many sessions also include team project work and incorporate break-out sessions with the opportunity to report-out findings. Organizations select the topics that best meet the cohort’s needs.
